Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Banham Poultry (2018) Ltd recruiting for Electrical Engineer to work as part of engineering team to provide effective and efficient electrical support throughout the site. Responsibilities: · Carry out routine electrical maintenance and other maintenance activities, ensuring that the manufacturing team achieve 100% compliance to the production plan, by minimising engineering downtime. Carry out engineering work to good standard, safely and in timely manner. · Fully engaged in supporting the engineering maintenance strategies Ensure workshop is kept to a good standard, clean and tidy. Keep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purpose. Complete Job reports/tickets each shift Assist Shift Leader in duties to ensure smooth running of shift Liaise with production and prioritise work in best interests of production and company · Ensure proactive response to maintenance and breakdowns on site ensuring continuity of production and services. Arrange ordering for any non-stock items required. Any other duties required by Engineering/Senior Management.

Shift pattern / rates · 12 hrs rotating shift pattern 5 on 5 off days and nights. From 6.00 till 6.00

Requirements

Requirements · City & Guilds/ BTEC Level 3 Electrical Engineering · 3 years plus experience in a FMCG environment · Health and Safety course.

Labels Operative

Job Description

Banham Poultry (2018) recruiting for Labels Operative to work on day shift or night shift with immediate start. Responsibilities: · To weigh various trayed/boxed products · Produce labels · To ensure use by dates and Day of Kill match product label · Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy at all times · To load labels on the Labeller and adjust the Tray Guides · To ensure all correct labels are used for every production run

Production Hygiene Operative

Job Description

Banham Poultry LTD recruiting for full time Hygiene Operatives to start immediately! Responsibilities: · Production Cleaning · Carry out the following cleaning activities during the production run and breaks to ensure the production areas (EV, Packing and Cutting) are clean and tidy at all time. o Remove excess water off the floor, o Check regularly all floor surfaces and using safe manual handling and safe practices, remove any floor waste and using floor squeegee remove excess surface build-up of water and debris (follow the correct meat on the floor procedure), o Empty the bins, o Clean and replenish foot dips with appropriate mix of water and suitable disinfectant, o Clean and replenish hand washing facilities (soap, sanitiser and paper towels), o Attend spillages immediately (if spotted) or as soon you are alerted to them. Domestic Cleaning: Empty the bins and carry out domestic cleaning activities including cleaning toilets and refilling of various dispensers, cleaning floor and all contact surfaces such as door handles, handrails, tables, tabs, sinks etc in the following areas: · Site amenities changing rooms, · Site canteen areas, · Site office areas and offices, · All site stairwells, · All site handwashing sinks, · All site smoking areas. On-site laundry storage facility · Move the coats across site from intake to dispensing areas. · Keeping the laundry area stocked and tidy. Job Description

As part of the operational team, we are recruiting for a Line Leader Cone Line to support the team deliver for our customers, achieve quality standards and develop our capability. Duties will include: - Prepare work area for production on a daily basis and undertake problem solving within production to ensure line is ready on time. - Check orders with Production Manager, work with team to ensure orders meets the quality standards, customer specifications and are completed within the given timescale. - Minimise wastage and monitor yields, stock rotation and costs. - Maximise performance and line efficiencies to include staffing and relevant paper work. - Meet and maintained the giveaway & yield targets as well as look for the improvement solutions. - Conduct the pre-start checks and action on identified issues to maintain a safe and healthy working environment and ensure that all equipment is used in accordance with safety regulations and company rules. - Share knowledge and experience to train new starters on all aspects of the performing jobs. - In conjunction with training department ensure all staff on line are trained and completed relevant paperwork that is required to ensure company compliance. - Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and ensure that all environmental and health and safety regulations are complied with. Ensure work areas and tools are cleaned. - Compliance and promoting of clean as you go- GMP, Food Safety, Hygiene, Health & Safety, codes of practice and factory rules at all times. - Personal development in line with Company strategy and best practice. - Completion of any relevant documentation / paperwork that is required.
